Hardwood Floors Made from Brazilian Wood

An individual by the name of Kermit Johnson recently posted a comment on one of my Blog Action Day posts. Kermit informed me that he did not participate in Blog Action Day but did write an entry in his blog about an environmental issue that he feels strongly about. The entry is about slave labour and the cutting of Brazilian lumber to make products such as hardwood flooring.

Rather than summarize the article here in my own entry, I’d prefer that you visit Kermit’s site and read the entry for yourself. It’s a very well thought out post and I hope it sparks a discussion among those of you out there that are reading this.
