boywithnoname gets props

Normally when I blog about the stuff I blog about, I don’t do it for any notoriety.  I mainly blog to inform other people.  I’m of the belief that something I find interesting would be of interest to at least one other person out there in the vast reaches of the interwebs.

When I blog about products or stores or other sites, I occasionally get a kind word from the product manufacturer, store owner or site owner.  And occasionally, I’ve been offered some free goodies for helping to promote certain stores, which is a nice little thank you.  But to be honest, I don’t blog to get free stuff or to gain some sort of celebrity status.  I do it to inform other people of things that I find interesting and hopefully it will help those who read about it.

Today I was looking over my stats and came across one of the referral links. I checked it out and saw that I got props!  Mad props!

Apparently the folks at Green Eyed Monster (makers of a very unique reusable tote bag) gave me a shout out on their “Shout Outs” page.  You can check out the Green Eyed Monster Press Page to view the link to my blog post.  And if you’re reading this well after this post has been posted you may want to check out the February 2009 archive for the link to my blog on Green Eyed Monster’s Press Page in the left hand navigation.

Thanks to sisters Ashley & Kim for giving me a shout out and for making a really cool product!
